Day Retreat - God’s Passion: Our Holiness
The Scriptures provide countless reminders of our invitation to holiness, and our daily call to honor that gift of God to us. Holiness is a gift not reserved for the few “saintly” among us, but a gift freely given to all – and intended “that our joy might be complete.”
The Book Of Exodus
The Book of Exodus has played a major role in both the Jewish and Christian traditions. It includes such important events as the call of Moses, the 10 plagues, the exodus from Egypt, the giving of the 10 commandments, and the Golden Calf.
“IGNATIAN MYSTICISM: Seeking, Finding, and Carrying Out God’s Will”
Donald Kirby, S.J.will talk about the powerful dynamic that ignited the mind, heart and will of St. Ignatius. He will discuss how Ignatius came to recognize that “the creator and Lord” deals directly with the soul, inflaming it with love and “disposing it for what God is calling it to.” Ignatius’ gift was to pay close attention to those movements.
Men’s Evening Retreat: Integrating the Masculine Soul
One of the great challenges that men face today is developing their ability to be more present to their emotional, spiritual, and interior lives.
“MYSTICISM FOR A NEW MILLENIUM”
There is a deep call today for each of us to realize that we are mystics or mystics-in-the-making. Mystics are people passionate about life, who have been blessed by an experience of God and who see the reality of the divine Presence in all of life. Jesus preached this message two thousand years ago, and it continues to be the call of Christ to us today.
