“A Lenten Prayer Experience”

In “A Different Kind of Fast,” Christine Valters  Paintner offers us an opportunity to let go and experience seven unique fasts.  These include fasting from control, our attachments, multitasking and more. Each week during Lent has a “fasting from” theme and she offers different contemplative practices for each day of the week beginning on Ash Wednesday.  The introduction to this prayer experience is 68 pages long - thus the reason for advance notice!

You must purchase your own copy of the book, and also get a head start on reading. We do not have copies at the Center. Hard copies are currently back-ordered from most retailers, so your best option may be Amazon kindle or Audible audiobook versions.
