Meet Our Staff
Steven Moore
Director
Steve is the director of the Spiritual Renewal Center. He holds bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Philosophy from Le Moyne College. He did his seminary studies at the Theological College of Catholic University and Church Divinity School of the Pacific. He also completed his Doctor of Psychology degree at the California School of Professional Psychology in San Francisco, CA and a Doctor of Ministry degree in Transformative Leadership with a focus on Prophetic Preaching at Colgate Rochester Crozier Divinity School. He trained in spiritual direction at the Haden Institute/Mt. Carmel Spiritual Center in Niagara Falls and Loyola House in Guelph.
Steve is also the Rector of Grace Church, and Vicar of Church of the Saviour in Syracuse. Additionally, he has private practice through SUNY Upstate. He has experience working as a pastor, chaplain, teacher and campus minister. Steve is married and has four small children.
Andrea Pollock
Office Manager
Andrea is the administrative assistant to our director, Steve Moore, and the Center administrator. Andrea is originally from the Kansas City area and received a BA degree with an anthropology minor from Syracuse University. She brings many years of office administration experience to SRC. Favorite interests outside of work are reading, cooking, yoga, music, traveling and various artistic pursuits.
Jim Krisher
Director Emeritus
Jim is the Director Emeritus of the Spiritual Renewal Center. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Religion from Syracuse University and master’s degree in Theology from Boston College. Jim also has pursued further graduate studies in Christian spirituality and spiritual direction at Creighton University.
He has written numerous published articles in his area of expertise, and is the author of Spiritual Surrender: Yielding Yourself to a Loving God and The Ongoing Work of Jesus: His Mission in our Lives.
Jim is an adjunct faculty member in the Religious Studies department at Le Moyne College, where he teaches courses in New Testament and Christian spirituality. He is married and the father of four children.
