Meet Our Staff
Jim Krisher
Director Emeritus
Jim is the Director Emeritus of the Spiritual Renewal Center. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Religion from Syracuse University and master’s degree in Theology from Boston College. Jim also has pursued further graduate studies in Christian spirituality and spiritual direction at Creighton University.
He has written numerous published articles in his area of expertise, and is the author of Spiritual Surrender: Yielding Yourself to a Loving God and The Ongoing Work of Jesus: His Mission in our Lives.
Jim is an adjunct faculty member in the Religious Studies department at LeMoyne College, where he teaches courses in New Testament and Christian spirituality. He is married and the father of four children.
Steven Moore
Director
Steve is the director of the Spiritual Renewal Center. He holds bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Philosophy from LeMoyne College. He did his seminary studies at the Theological College of Catholic University and Church Divinity School of the Pacific. He also completed his Doctor of Psychology degree at the California School of Professional Psychology in San Francisco, CA and is completing his Doctor of Ministry degree in Transformative Leadership with a focus on Prophetic Preaching at Colgate Rochester Crozier Divinity School. He trained in spiritual direction at the Haden Institute/Mt. Carmel Spiritual Center in Niagara Falls and Loyola House in Guelph.
Steve is also the Rector of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Marcellus and maintains a small private practice. He has experience working as a pastor, chaplain, teacher and campus minister. Steve is married and has four small children.
Marise May, OSF
Programming Associate
Marise May coordinates the Center’s Nineteenth Annotation version of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola. Sr. Marise facilitates the weekly Tuesday morning Bible study, as well as numerous other presentations. She also serves as a spiritual director and as staff member of our Horizons Foundational Program for the Training of Spiritual Directors.
Andrea Pollock
Administrative Assistant
Andrea is the administrative assistant to our director, Steve Moore. Andrea also serves administratively at Onondaga Hill Presbyterian Church. Andrea is originally from the Kansas City area and received a BA degree with an anthropology minor from Syracuse University. She brings many years of office administration experience to SRC. Favorite interests outside of work are reading, cooking, yoga, music, traveling and various artistic pursuits.
