We live during an era when various forces all around us conspire to make us less able to lament, and or to offer resistance to the goings-on found in our times. Still we know there are many fine people, poets among them, who strive and have striven to offer Voices of a different kind, and to help us in these times of unsettling and untimely transitions, and in trials both political social and spiritual.
