About the Event
Take Charge of the Time You Have
Thursday, January 13 | 1:00 pm (EST) (virtual option available)
Fee: $20, or whatever you can afford
Have you been dealing with cancer or another serious illness?
When we receive a diagnosis of a very serious illness, our physical needs become
heightened. The same is true of our emotional and spiritual needs though that fact is sometimes overlooked to the detriment of the whole.
There are some things we can do for ourselves to address the shortage of attention to our emotional and spiritual life, as well as the physical.
Join us on January 13th at 1:00 pm to learn about a tool we’ve developed that can aid in bringing awareness to mind, body and spiritual needs.
Come spend an hour and a half with Sister Kathleen Osbelt and Kristin Barrett-Anderson and take some time to address ideas toward a more complete care for yourself. Suggested donation $20, or whatever you can afford.
Sr. Kathleen Osbelt is a Franciscan Sister who has worked with those who are dying at Francis House for 30 years. She is a chaplain and spiritual director.
