About the Event
Sister Jean’s book “Wake Up with Purpose: What I’ve Learned in My First Hundred Years” is part memoir and part spiritual guide. It reads like a privileged conversation with a wise aunt. You may recall that she served as the team chaplain for Loyola Chicago’s basketball team. We will chat about the book and share some nuggets worth savoring. This offering will be a discussion format, rather than a presentation. The expectation is that you will have read Sister Jean's book and reflected on the content a bit. Consider, for example, something that surprised you and something that you questioned as well as what resonates with your lived experience. Suggested donation is $15.
Ann Derr, one of our staff Spiritual Directors, will facilitate this summer book chat.
