Morning Meeting

That's what came to me as I entered my favorite spot to enjoy morning coffee. Yep, this is where each day starts. It's where I take in my first enjoyable sips of caffeine and meet with my "boss".

I have the best boss in the world! You see, when I bring up how bad I messed up the day before, it's already forgotten!

This meeting room is where I hear about the day's agenda and sometimes, I can't believe what I hear! Like, really, you think I could do that? Or, you really want me to do that? You see, my boss is so creative and empowering!

When I am in doubt about something, it's the place where I am reminded of all the things that "just happened to work out" in the best way.

It's the place where I am greeted by my favorite little bird Red and I am reminded that our boss loves and cares for each of us so much.

It's where I am inspired to connect the dots between my life and the lives of other workers that I read about in Scripture.

It's where I voice my complaints about injustices either personally or globally and I walk away with certainty that my voice was heard.

It's the place where I can get away to be silent and my boss likes it so much when I visit!

Our boss has an open door policy for real! 24/7 anytime, anywhere we're greeted with the utmost respect and understanding...not to mention the eternal reward!
